GENERAL RACING RULES

1. The Chilkat Snowburners reserve the right to refuse admission to any contestant to a race.

2. No contestant shall consume alcoholic beverages before or during a race. Any contestant under the influence of alcohol WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. No alcohol in the pit areas.

3. Only Official Pit Crew, and Driver will be allowed in the pit area.

4. Drivers will be disqualified at the discretion of the race officials for violation of any rule or regulation as established by the Race Committee.

5. No contestant and or owner of a machine shall falsify his age or modify his machine with the intent to defraud the Officials or other contestants.

6. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO RACE

7. Each contestant shall make sure his machine is in proper mechanical order as follows:

A. Windshields optional. Broken ones will be removed.
B. Visible working headlights and tail lights.
C. Proper Flaps.
D. Brakes
E. Seat
F. Skis
G. Throttle
H. Hood
I. Cowling
J. Track

8. PROPER HEADGEAR AND CLOTHING ARE REQUIRED AS FOLLOWS:

A. Helmets
B. Gloves or Mittens
C. Boots
D. Snowsuits or insulated clothing
E. Eye and Face protection

9. There will be not less than three (3) machines per class. If there are less than 3 machines, they will be placed in the next higher class or the closest compatible H.P. rating. This will be done at the discretion of the Race Director.

10. ALL MACHINES SHALL BE PLACED IN THEIR PROPER CLASS. No machine can jump down a class. You can enter in any class above your own, but enter only one class at a time.

11. OBEY ALL FLAG SIGNALS:

Green........Go
Yellow........Caution
Red........Start Over
Black........Disqualified
White........One More Lap
Checkered........Finished

12. Follow all marked areas of the race. If you fail to follow the correctly marked areas you will be disqualified at the discretion of a race official.

13. FOLLOW ALLL REQUIRED STARTING TIMES: Contestants get one (1) foul start, on their second (2) foul start they will start behind the starting line

15. Contestants must be on the starting line three (3) minutes prior to start time.

16. Once a race is called , there will be NO REFUNDS OF ENTRY FEE.

17. NO reckless driving or unsportsmanship conduct will be TOLERATED.
